UNC Football: Backup QBs earn helmet stickers against Wofford
British Brooks
It was definitely a Senior Day to remember for British Brooks.
Having not scored a touchdown since 2019, Brooks broke free on his first touch of the game to score on a 38-yard run. The senior was not done, as he scored once again later on in the contest, and finished with 89 total yards on seven carries.
Known as more of a special teams player, Brooks showed his toughness through the running game on Saturday. He ran through defenders and fought for some hard-earned yardage, as every time he touched the ball ended up being very beneficial for the Tar Heels’ offense.
On a day dedicated to the senior members of the program, it was fantastic to see Brooks have such a tremendous day on the field. Although he wasn’t featured much in the Tar Heels’ backfield this season, Brooks still put in a lot of work to be a contributing factor in whatever role the UNC football program needed him in.
