The UNC Football program once again pulled off a come from behind victory against Wake Forest! Here’s our helmet sticker honorees for the victory.

Another year, another comeback victory against Wake Forest!

It’s safe to say that this homecoming game will be one that Tar Heels fans remember for a very long time.

At the 7:38 mark in the third quarter, the Tar Heels found themselves trailing by 18 points. Similar to last year’s 20+ point deficit against the Demon Deacons, North Carolina rallied in a huge way to secure a 58-55 victory over the current No. 9 ranked team in the nation. The victory also ruined the Demon Deacons’ hopes of an undefeated season, as they’ll leave Chapel Hill with their first loss.

Although this game does not count in regards to their ACC schedule, it is still a major victory for a North Carolina team that is looking to secure a bowl bid over the next few weeks. The win also has to give some hope that this team could get hot down the final stretch of the regular season.

Of course, there’s a handful of deserving candidates for helmet stickers this week. Although it was an offensive slugfest between two very good offenses, let’s start on the defensive side of the ball with a guy who made two major plays for the Tar Heels.
