This week’s helmet sticker honors for the UNC football program’s contest against No. 11 Notre Dame focus heavily on the offensive side of the ball.

The UNC football program was faced with a difficult task following their bye week, as they traveled to South Bend to take on No. 11 Notre Dame in a primetime game.

Unfortunately, the Tar Heels defense didn’t show up (once again), and some crucial mistakes on both sides of the ball ended up playing a huge factor in the team’s 10-point loss. Although the offense did all it could to keep the Tar Heels in the game, it was the defense that couldn’t make a stop on multiple occasions when the team needed it the most.

After starting the season with College Football Playoff aspirations, the Tar Heels currently have a .500 record and are looking ahead to two more tough matchups against current top-25 programs. Needless to say, this stretch will be huge for North Carolina as they make a push to earn a bowl game bid.

Before we start focusing on next week, we have some helmet stickers to give out for this week’s contest. Although the majority of the Tar Heels have not performed the way we all expected them to, it’s been the consistent production from three offensive standouts that continue to carry the Tar Heels.

For this week’s honors, there’s no better place to start than with QB1.
