UNC football helmet stickers vs Miami Hurricanes
Cam’Ron Kelly
The North Carolina defense forced three turnovers in the game, all via interceptions. We talked about two already, but we simply can’t forget about the other!
Late in the second quarter, the Tar Heels missed an opportunity to score with a missed field goal. On the ensuing Hurricanes drive, Kelly stepped in and made a huge play to get the offense back on the field.
On the second play of the drive, Kelly picked off Miami’s Tyler Van Dyk, setting North Carolina up with great field position. They would use the turnover to their advantage, as it led to three more points before the half expired.
The junior from Chesapeake, Virginia has been developing nicely at the strong safety position, and continues to make some big plays for the Tar Heels’ defense . As each week passes, it appears as if Kelly is getting more comfortable with his role within the defensive unit.
