These UNC football players earned helmet stickers for their performance in a nail-biting victory over Miami.

There’s an old saying that goes, “there’s never been a win that I don’t like.” Now, we’re sure that the Tar Heel faithful are more than happy with the win, but did it have to get so dang close?!

The UNC football program held off the Miami Hurricanes in a 45-42 slugfest. Simply put, the Tar Heels had plenty of opportunities to blow the game wide open, but a staggering offensive performance in the second half got the Hurricanes right back into it.

Essentially, the Tar Heels defense had to fight until the final seconds of the game. Before I began writing this article, I made sure no more pass interference calls (or penalties in general) could be called against the Tar Heels.

Hey, it wasn’t pretty, but a win is still a win! For sure, North Carolina had some key contributors that helped make the win possible.
