The UNC football program picked up a huge ACC victory over Virginia on Saturday night. Find out which Tar Heels earned helmet sticker honors for this week’s contest.

After a convincing non-conference victory over Georgia State in Week 2, the UNC football program was back in ACC action on Saturday night against the rival Virginia Cavaliers.

In need of a victory, the Tar Heels’ offense stepped up to the occasion. The Sam Howell-led unit put up 59 points and 699 total yards en route to defeating the Cavaliers for their first conference win of the season.

Right away, you could tell that North Carolina’s offense was firing on all cylinders. The Tar Heels scored touchdowns on each of their first three possessions, only needing a total of two minutes and 41 seconds to do so. Although the Cavaliers took the lead prior to halftime, the Tar Heels’ offense was too much for their ACC rival to handle.

This week’s helmet sticker honors will focus solely on the offensive unit, as there are a handful of players who had themselves career nights in Chapel Hill. Let’s begin our weekly awards by highlighting the skill player who was a major spark in the Tar Heels’ offensive attack.
