5 UNC Basketball recruiting targets to keep an eye on after 2022
By Zack Pearson
Bryson Warren (2023)
We already detailed one guard to keep an eye on in the 2023 recruiting class but Dillingham isn’t the only one drawing interest from North Carolina. The Tar Heels have yet to officially offer four-star guard Bryson Warren out of Little Rock, Arkansas but the program has at least had some contact with him.
A few weeks back, the Tar Heels started to show interest in Warren and could be a player in his commitment.
The 6-foot-2, 155-pound combo guard has a total of 22 offers as Arizona State, Kansas, Arkansas, Auburn, Memphis, and Oklahoma among others are included on that list. He’s drawing a lot of interest in his recruitment and rightfully so after an impressive year of basketball. Warren even climbed into the Top 15 in the latest Rivals150 rankings for the 2023 class.
But where does UNC stand?
Right now, the interest level is there but it’s a bit minimal. The Tar Heels have yet to offer and as of now but they did reach out during this early contact period. If UNC continues to show interest in the next month, an offer and potential visit could be on the mend. For now, let’s keep Warren on this list and it’s certainly a situation worth monitoring as UNC begins evaluating guards.
