5 UNC Basketball recruiting targets to keep an eye on after 2022

This Summer will be a big one for colleges in terms of recruiting and especially big for the UNC Basketball program. The NCAA lifted recruiting restrictions on June 1, allowing prospects to take visits to programs throughout the Summer. And that’s important for the Tar Heels.

With Hubert Davis entering his first big Summer on the recruiting trail, he has the task of adding to UNC’s 2022 class as well as future classes.

As it stands now, UNC has one prospect committed in the 2022 class as they landed three-star Will Shaver following his visit. They still have plenty of offers out to targets and a three-man class is ideal for the program.

But what about future classes?

The Tar Heels have offered a few prospects in 2023 so far and have their eyes on a handful of others. The 2023 class has the potential to be a big one for Davis and his staff and it’s certainly an important one as well.
