UNC Football: Kickoff times and TV information for five games set

As we count down the days until the UNC football season kicks off, here are some important schedule updates to take note of:
This week, the kickoff times and television schedules for five of the Tar Heels’ 2021 regular season games were announced. With the announcement, North Carolina now has kickoff times and television broadcasting updates for half of their 2021 regular season slate.
As of now, five of the Tar Heels’ six scheduled contests are set to be featured on prime time. A sixth game, which is scheduled for Thanksgiving Friday, is also likely to land a prime spot on the television schedule.
Other than the team’s home opener against Georgia State, the other four games that were included in the Tar Heels’ schedule update are set to be aired on national networks. Based on what we already know about the schedule, college football fans around the country will have multiple opportunities to watch the UNC football program in action this season.
In regards to the team’s remaining schedule, details will be announced 12 days prior to kickoff. The only exception to this is if a network decides to exercise a six-day pick for a particular game.

Now it’s official: the UNC football program will kick off their 2021 season on September 3 at Virginia Tech. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. EST.
