We are just a few days away from the start of June as it will be a big month for the UNC Basketball program in terms of recruiting visits.

Hubert Davis and the UNC staff are set to welcome over five recruits in what is set to be a crucial time in terms of the 2022 class. The visits vary from five-star targets to four-star targets and players at the top of UNC’s recruiting board.

But on Saturday, one recruit opted to reschedule his visit for a later date.

Four-star forward De’Ante Green was originally scheduled to visit North Carolina on June 11-13th he revealed back in April. However, there has been a change in plans and Green will now visit the program sometime in August:

Last week, Green announced he was set to visit Wake Forest on June 12th the day he was supposed to end his visit to North Carolina. But since then things have changed and Green revealed the news while playing at the CP3 Memorial Classic.

Green is still set to visit N.C. State on June 3rd, Wake on June 12th and Tennessee on June 22nd but will wait to visit North Carolina. He’s also setting an official visit to Florida State as well.

The Tar Heels have been the presumed favorite to land Green since offering him last season and he’s one of their top targets in that 2022 class. The in-state product is ranked No. 110 overall, No. 20 power forward and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
