The UNC Basketball program added another intriguing prospect to their 2022 recruiting board on Wednesday night.

Wisconsin native and four-star guard Seth Trimble announced via Twitter that Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels are the latest team to enter his recruitment.

The offer is just the latest from the Tar Heels in the 2022 class as their recruiting board is starting to shape up. The Tar Heels have yet to land a commitment in their 2022 class but have 11 active offers out. Earlier in the week UNC offered three-star Alabama native Will Shaver as well.

Trimble posted this message on Wednesday night to officially announce the offer.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Trimble is a Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin native which is the same town that former Tar Heels’ commit J.P. Tokoto is from. Trimble is the brother of Tokoto, who played at UNC for three seasons.  Trimble is ranked No. 78 overall, No. 14 at his position and the No. 1 player in the state of Wisconsin per the 247Sports composite recruiting rankings.

Trimble has a total of 14 offers in his recruitment and over the past few weeks has landed some big programs. In addition to North Carolina on Wednesday night, Juwan Howard and the Michigan Wolverines offered on May 10th as they entered the recruitment. Soon after Michigan offered, the Wolverines picked up two crystal ball predictions on 247Sports which is a great sign for the Wolverines.

The guard is a rising recruit in the 2022 class and should continue to see interest from programs as he gets better. So far, Arizona State, Cal, Creighton, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Marquette, Nebraska, USC, and Wisconsin have also offered. As it stands now, Trimble is set to visit both Michigan and Marquette in June with the NCAA lifting travel restrictions.

There’s no plans to visit UNC but the Tar Heels offer is still very fresh and that could change in the coming weeks.
