A UNC basketball target for the Class of 2022 was very impressive during a weekend showcase tournament in Atlanta.

This past weekend, the Exposure Breakout took place in Atlanta, Georgia. The tournament featured most of the top Adidas 3SSB programs around the country, and several highly-touted prospects participated in the event.

One of the players that participated in the event is Jalen Bradley, the five-star 2022 point guard recruit from IMG Academy. Bradley has a ton of interest from some of the biggest programs in the country, including North Carolina.

In this event, Bradley showed glimpses as to why so many schools covet the player who 247 Sports currently ranks as the No. 15 overall prospect in his graduating class.

Against the Southern Assault, Bradley led the way with 30 points for his team, We All Can Go. According to Dan McDonald from Rivals, the Bradenton, Florida native showed his ability to attack the rim, as most of his points came through that approach. Bradley showed he can also shoot the ball, as he hit some of his shots from deep as well.

Even with the change at head coach, it appears that the UNC basketball program is still all-in on Jalen Bradley. Although the current Crystal Ball predictions have Bradley heading to Kentucky, it appears as if the Tar Heels are still very much in contention.

North Carolina could ultimately offer Bradley a very enticing situation to land in.

With Caleb Love’s future past this year uncertain, it’s very possible that the Tar Heels could be in need of a starting point guard right away in 2022. If that’s the case, Bradley could follow the likes of Love in earning the starting role right out of the gate.

For a player who definitely has the ability to be “one-and-done” potential, this opportunity to play significant minutes right away at a big time program could help sway him to Chapel Hill. Other programs can offer similar roles, but Hubert Davis and his staff could help show Bradley that North Carolina is the right landing spot for him.

If he continues to play at a high level, expect more programs to jump into the mix for Bradley’s commitment. It’s not expected that he will make a decision anytime soon, but he’ll definitely be a name for Tar Heels fans to keep an eye on over the next few months.
