Is Kentucky the team to beat for this big five-star UNC Basketball recruit in the 2022 class? All signs are pointing that way

The 2022 recruiting cycle is starting to heat up a bit and a few UNC Basketball targets have been in the news recently.

Among the top recruits on Roy Williams’ board in 2022 is five-star guard Jaden Bradley. The five-star guard plays his high school ball at IMG Academy and has received a total of 17 offers so far in his recruitment. That includes from some big programs such as UNC, Kentucky, Kansas, Tennessee and Louisville among others.

But most recently, it was Coach Cal and the Wildcats that extended an offer to Bradley in early January and it may have changed his recruitment.

Just days after Bradley received that offer from Kentucky, a few Crystal Ball predictions came pouring in on 247 Sports for the Wildcats. Kentucky now has three picks for Bradley on 247 Sports including a big one from analyst Jerry Meyer.

Joining Meyer in predicting Bradley to Kentucky is Cats Pause’s Chris Fischer and 247 Sports analyst Travis Branham.

While there is still time left in this recruitment, this certainly isn’t good news for UNC. Bradley has been one of their top targets for a while now as they officially offered him back in March. Bradley is a native of Florida and played ball at Concord before transferring to IMG Academy.

Not only is he a big target, but Bradley is one of the best players in the 2022 recruiting class and would give the Tar Heels a legit option at the guard position.

The Tar Heels have already lost out on Skyy Clark to Kentucky and now it appears as if they have their work cut out for them in the recruitment for Bradley as well.
