UNC Basketball: Christian Keeling signs with Glasgow Rocks

Christian Keeling is the latest UNC basketball alum to land a professional basketball contract.

After one season in Chapel Hill, Christian Keeling is ready to begin his professional basketball career.

Keeling has signed a contract with the Glasgow Rocks, a professional basketball club in Scotland. The Rocks compete in the British Basketball league, which is considered the “top tier” of British basketball.

The now 22-year-old began his collegiate career at Charleston Southern. After three successful seasons with the program, Keeling transferred to North Carolina as a graduate student for his final year of eligibility.

Keeling appeared in 30 games and made 9 starts for the Tar Heels during the 2019-2020 season. He averaged 6.9 points and 2.7 rebounds over 19.3 minutes played per-contest.

Overall, the Augusta, GA native finished his collegiate career with 1,878 points and 692 rebounds in 126 total games. The 6-foot-3 guard scored in double-digits in 94 of those contests, including seven as a member of the Tar Heels.
