Cam’Ron Kelly

We have yet another first-time recipient of helmet sticker honors this season.

Cam’Ron Kelly was all over the field on Saturday afternoon, as he was one of the Tar Heels’ defensive standout performers.

Overall, Kelly tallied 11 tackles (five solo) in the victory over Duke. The sophomore from Chesapeake, VA also had a pass break-up in the end zone that kept the Blue Devils from scoring a touchdown.

With some key injuries in the secondary, Kelly was able to step up and put together his best statistical performance of the season. It would be a huge boost to the Tar Heels defense if he can continue to play at a high level.
