UNC Football: Tar Heels uniform combo vs. NC State

We take a look at the uniform combo for the UNC Football program as they take on NC State this Saturday in Chapel Hill

The UNC Football program returns to the field on Saturday afternoon following their first loss of the year at Florida State a week ago. But the Tar Heels needed to forget that loss as soon as possible as it’s officially State Week.

N.C. State comes into Chapel Hill with a 4-1 record and a No. 23 ranking as winners of three-straight games this year. They also have some revenge on their minds after being blown out at home last year to the Tar Heels in the final regular season game of the year.

Saturday’s game should be another entertaining one for the Tar Heels as they hope to rebound and start a win streak against their rivals. And when UNC takes the field in front of a limited crowd in Chapel Hill, they will do so in style.

The Tar Heels have released their uniform combo for the upcoming week and they are going with the all blue combo for the first time this year:

That’s right. It’s an all blue helmet, jersey top and jersey pants for Saturday’s showdown as we love this look from UNC.

Week 2 vs. Syracuse — Blue helmet, blue jersey, white pants

Week 5  vs. Boston College— White helmet, white jersey, white pants

Week 6 vs. Virginia Tech — White helmet, navy jersey, white pants

Week 7 vs. Florida State —Blue helmet, white jersey, blue pants

Week 8 vs. NC State — Blue helmet, blue jersey, blue pants

Kickoff is set for NOON est on Saturday afternoon and the game will be broadcasted live on ESPN.
