The UNC Football program returns to the field as they travel to take on Boston College this week and they have revealed their uniform combo

It’s been a long two weeks but finally, the UNC Football program is returning to the field for an actual game.

North Carolina is set to hit the road for Week 5 as they will take on the Boston College Eagles this Saturday. This will be the first UNC football game since September 12th when the Tar Heels hosted Syracuse and won to open the season.

But this will be their first road game of the year and the new rules while traveling will be applied for the first time.

While the Tar Heels have their plan and will try to limit the exposure as much as possible, the game is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET start. The Eagles enter the game at 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference  with wins over Texas State and Duke in the last two weeks

When the Tar Heels do hit the field, they will do so in a uniform combination they have yet to use this season. The program announced that they will go with the all-white look for their matchup with the Eagles:

With this being just the second game of the year, it’s a new combo that I’m sure we will see again this year. Still, it’s an icey look for a big road game.

Here is a look at the tracker for this season:

Week 2 vs. Syracuse — Blue helmet, blue jersey, white pants

Week 5  vs. Boston College— White helmet, white jersey, white pants

This game will start a big streak of weeks with seven-straight games as the Tar Heels won’t have a bye week until late November.
