Dyami Brown

Dyami Brown is another junior wide receiver who had a great day for the Tar Heels offense.

Although he only had three catches, Brown made some really big plays. The Charlotte, NC native had 86 total receiving yard and scored twice, his first touchdowns of the 2020 season. His 43-yard reception was the longest pass play of the day for the Tar Heels.

Brown doesn’t have many receptions this season, as he averages a little over four receptions per-game. However, Brown has shown the ability to not only make plays, but can also turn plays into huge gains for the Tar Heels offense.

Of Howell’s 257 passing yards, Brown, Newsome and Williams accounted for 210 of those yards. Safe to say all three players made a huge impact to help the Tar Heels secure this week’s victory.

The Tar Heels will be back in action on Saturday night, as they’ll travel to Florida State for yet another ACC contest. As always, check in with the Keeping It Heel team to see which of your favorite Tar Heels will earn helmet sticker honors for the contest!
