The UNC Football program has offered a three-star outside linebacker in the 2022 recruiting class this week as Brown and his staff continue on the trail

As Mack Brown and his staff continue to prepare for Boston College and the rest of the 2020 UNC Football season, they haven’t forgotten about the recruiting trail.

The Tar Heels’ football staff has been busy over the past few weeks when it comes to recruiting, offering a four-star quarterback on Friday in the 2022 class. But a few days before that, the Tar Heels also offered a linebacker.

Outside linebacker Joshua Josephs announced via his Twitter account that he has officially received an offer from the Tar Heels. The recruit tweeted this earlier in the week:

Joseph is an interesting recruit that does not have a star rating yet on 247 Sports. But he does have a three-star rating from Rivals. The Keenesaw, Georgia product now has a total of seven offers as UNC has joined Georgia Tech, Memphis, Ole Miss, Pitt, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech as schools to offer the recruit. The Tar Heels and Mountaineers were the latest offers picked up this week.

UNC now has a total of 55 offers out for prospects in the 2022 recruiting class but have yet to land a commitment. They are coming off a very impressive 2020 class and 2021 cycle that could be their best yet. If Brown and his staff continue to build with solid recruiting classes, the future is very bright for the Tar Heels.
