Michael Carter

Michael Carter earned helmet sticker honors for North Carolina’s Week 1 victory, and the senior running back finds himself back on the list for this week’s contest.

On Saturday, the Navarre, FL native tallied 127 total yards of offense. The senior ran the ball 16 times for 121 yards (7.6 yards-per-carry), and also added a reception for six yards.

In a game where the Tar Heels rushed the ball 39 times, Carter saw the majority of the carries. Along with Javonte Williams, Mack Brown has a lethal 1-2 punch that he can rely on to help move the Tar Heels offense down the field.

Carter hasn’t found the end-zone yet this season (mind you, we’re only two games in!), but he has been very effective in the run game. Expect Carter to continue playing a major role in the team’s offensive scheme moving forward.
