Khafre Brown

Sam Howell does a great job of spreading the ball around. On Saturday, the Tar Heels had eight different receivers haul in passes, as the production was spread out evenly among the team’s arsenal of weapons.

Khafre Brown was one of the receivers in the mix for the Tar Heels on Saturday afternoon. The freshman only had two catches for 35 yards on the day, but his 24-yard touchdown reception put the Tar Heels up early in the contest. The score also marked the first collegiate touchdown for the Charlotte, North Carolina native.

Through two games, the true freshman has played a small role in the Tar Heels offense. However, if he continues to be a reliable target, his role could definitely expand as his chemistry with Howell develops.
