Chazz Surratt

He may not have been the most talked about player during the game, but Chazz Surratt quietly had a nice start to his senior season.

After an early injury scare in the first quarter, Surratt quickly returned to action. He tallied 9 total tackles (four solo) including two sacks and two additional quarterback hits.

Now that teams know what to expect from Surratt, it is expected that they will game plan to ensure he doesn’t take over games on the defensive side of the ball. Although Syracuse tried to limit his impact, Surratt still found a way to be very active throughout the contest.

With the expectations surrounding Surratt, you’d expect to see him on our helmet sticker list a lot more during the 2020 season. Regardless, this is a very nice start to the season for both Surratt and the Tar Heels football program.
