Storm Duck

Storm Duck definitely has a name that stands out, but his on-field play will soon make the college football world take notice of just how good he can be.

After an impressive freshman season, Duck is looking to be even better in year two. If week 1 was any indication, we should expect big things from the sophomore cornerback moving forward.

In his first action of his sophomore season, Duck spent most of the game covering Syracuse receiver Taj Harris. The Orange tried to get him actively involved in the game, but Duck had other ideas.

Out of 15 targets, Harris hauled in just five passes for 64 yards. The junior receiver could not get going, and that’s a testament to the man-to-man coverage that Duck had on him throughout the majority of the contest.

Along with his excellent pass coverage, Duck also tallied four tackles. His stellar defensive play earned him helmet stickers for this week’s contest.
