The ACC has released their revised schedule for the 2020 football season as the UNC Football program gears up

The wait is finally over! On Thursday morning, the Atlantic Coast Conference released their schedule for the upcoming football season and the UNC Football program will now know their full schedule for the upcoming season.

All ACC schools are scheduled to play 11 games this season. Each program will match up with 10 schools from the conference, and will be allowed to play one non-conference contest.

Instead, Notre Dame will compete as members of the ACC. This could be a very exciting matchup, especially if both teams are in the playoff hunt towards the end of the season.

Even though the schedule has been released, there is still some uncertainty for the Tar Heels.

On the revised schedule, the Tar Heels’ non-conference tilt is scheduled for September 19. As of now, the Tar Heels do not have a non-conference opponent scheduled yet, as that will likely be released at a later date.

With the released of the revised schedule, it finally feels as if we’re closing in on the college football season. Of course, there are still plenty of obstacles that can get in the way of the season, but it’s exciting to have the first look at the Tar Heels’ tentative schedule.
