Harrison Barnes

Team: Sacramento Kings

Current Record: 28-36

Playoff Position: 11th in Western Conference (3.5 GB of playoff spot)

Harrison Barnes has had a solid season for the Kings. In his first full-year in Sacramento, the 27-year-old has started all 64 contests, averaging 14.7 points-per-game.

Although Barnes has been a steady contributor for the Kings, we may not see him participate in the resumption of the NBA season.

Prior to the team leaving for the NBA Bubble, Barnes contracted the COVID-19 virus. The veteran forward posted on social media the following post to provide an update on his status:

If all goes well, Barnes says that he expects to rejoin his team in Orlando. However, as the Kings are 3.5 games back with just eight games to play, it looks like a long shot for them to advance to this year’s playoffs. A lot would have to go right for the Kings in this restart, likely requiring a win out scenario. But they are a young and hungry team and crazy things can happen.
