UNC Basketball: Tar Heels playing in the NBA Bubble

UNC Basketball will be well-represented as the NBA resumes its regular season in Disney World.

After a hiatus that’s lasted over four months, the NBA is set to resume its season. The action will start up again on July 30th at the Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. In order to determine the playoff seedings, the league has invited 22 teams to play eight seeding games to determine the final playoff spots.

As the NBA regular season resumes, the UNC Basketball program will be well-represented. Nine former Tar Heels will look to help their teams advance in hopes of winning an NBA Championship.

Some of these players have a solid shot at winning it all in this restart while others find themselves on teams that are on the outside looking in. Either way it will be great to have basketball back, even if it is in a bubble with no fans. This could be the start of really getting more professional sports going in this country and that should be a good thing.
