2. Talented Youth

Everybody knew the name Nassir Little at the start of the season, but by now everyone should have heard of Coby White.

The two have combined for 26 points per game, and if it weren’t for the freshmen down the road, Little and White might be the most talked about freshman duo in the country.

White, who passed Michael Jordan for more points scored during a freshman season, has three of the five highest scoring outputs by a freshman in Carolina history.

Recently, White was named a third team All-American by NBC Sports, finishing the regular season averaging 16.3 points per game and shooting 38 percent from deep.

While White may have stolen some of the spotlight from Little, Little is still one of the most versatile and athletic players in the country.

Averaging 9.5 points per game this season, he is a punch off the bench that no other team in the country has. With his ability to play and guard three positions, Little has started to come on strong toward the end of the season, primed for a big NCAA Tournament.

With both youngsters having a short memory and not being afraid of the moment, their ability to effect the game on both ends of the floor will shine in the postseason.
