A big five-star UNC Basketball recruiting target will be on campus for the season finale against Duke on March 9th

The rematch between North Carolina and Duke on March 9th should have implications for the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season title. With three teams tied atop the standings going into the final two weeks, it’s going to be an interesting finish.

There’s also the chance the winner could be playing for a No. 1 seed depending on what happens down the stretch.

Either way, it’s safe to say it will be a huge game and the atmosphere in the Dean Dome should be electric as the Tar Heels go for the season sweep.

While the Dean Dome will be packed, there will be a few special guests on campus for this matchup. We already told you about Precious Achiuwa and Ziaire Williams taking their official visits to campus but there will be another recruiting target also in attendance.

According to Jake Weingarten of Stock Risers, class of 2020 five-star recruit Greg Brown will take an unofficial visit to campus that weekend for the UNC-Duke game:

The Austin, Texas native is one of the top recruits in the 2020 class, ranking No. 6 overall and No. 1 among power forwards.

Brown has drawn interest from UNC over the past few months with head coach Roy Williams taking a trip down to Texas to watch him. Williams offered Brown a scholarship at the end of January and then just last week the recruit named UNC to his Top 10.

The Tar Heels are one of 14 offers for Brown with teams like Texas, Kansas, Baylor, Texas A&M, and LSU among others showing interest.

Brown hasn’t set up an official to any school yet but you have to like UNC’s chances to get an official down the road.
