We are approaching the final two weeks of the regular season in the Atlantic Coast Conference, with the North Carolina Tar Heels in good position for a double-bye.

The Tar Heels have three games left, including tonight’s road game against Syracuse.

A win would help UNC’s chances in getting a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and starting with two possible games in Charlotte.

But the basketball team wasn’t the only athletics team in the news.

Baseball also started their season over the weekend, winning the series against USF 2-1. They returned home to Chapel Hill for the home opener on Tuesday.

There was also news regarding former Tar Heels in the NBA and the NFL, making significant headlines.
