The latest Tar Heels Tidbits has info on a recruit Roy Williams visited, Mitch Trubisky and much, much more

It was a week to forget for the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball program.

They lost both of their road games at Florida State and Virginia, dropping their record to 1-2 on the Atlantic Coast Conference season. But there’s still a lot of basketball to be played and UNC managed to get back on track Tuesday night.

The Tar Heels improved to 2-2 in conference play after a big night from Luke Maye.

Recruiting

  • Roy Williams was back on the recruiting trail last week. He visited class of 2019 recruit Precious Achiuwa on Sunday as Adam Zagoria reported.
  • Williams first showed interest in Achiuwa back in September of 2017 as the recruit confirmed to Keeping It Heel that the head coach made a visit.
  • Jordyn Adams played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl over the weekend. Here’s a highlight of five-star QB Trevor Lawrence completing a pass to Adams who broke free from the defender:
