The Tar Heels are hosting two recruits on campus Sunday, which could change their recruiting landscape

Two University of North Carolina recruiting targets will be on campus Sunday for visits as it could be a big day in Chapel Hill.

As the Tar Heels open up their football summer camp over the weekend, they are set to host a big recruit on Sunday.

Class of 2018 five star running back Zamir White is set to visit the school just a few weeks ahead of his big decision.

White is the biggest target for the UNC football team in the 2018 class.

The Laurinburg, North Carolina product is the top rated running back in the class and has UNC in his top four along with Georgia, Clemson and Alabama. The Bulldogs appear to be the favorites going into the June 26th commitment but the Tar Heels have picked up some steam lately.

White visited Alabama on June 3rd as he makes the final stops on his summer recruiting process.

The running back won’t be the only recruit on campus Sunday.

UNC will also be hosting a point guard in the 2019 recruiting class. According to Carolina Blue, point guard Jeremiah Francis will also be on campus for a visit.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound point guard is a four-star recruit and is ranked as the 29th-best player at his position.

Francis is an Ohio native who plays at Pickerington Central, the same high school that 2017 UNC commit Sterling Manley attended.

UNC has some big competition for the point guard, especially in the Midwest. Ohio State is the early favorites to land the in-state recruit but Purdue and Nebraska are among other schools interested in Francis.

With the recent coaching change at Ohio State, Francis has become a priority for new head coach Chris Holtmann. Francis spoke with Cleveland.com on the change and Holtmann, who recruited him while at Butler.

"Holtmann and the Butler staff had built a relationship with Francis. Maybe there was a time when they could’ve stolen him away from Ohio State — like too many other prospects leaving the state for other programs over the years. Now Holtmann’s focus has shifted. He’s Ohio State’s coach, and while he has immediate work to do in the 2018 recruiting class, Francis won’t be far off his radar — because he never was. That’s how Holtmann ran his Butler program, sustaining the successes of Brad Stevens and others before him by mining Ohio, Indiana and the rest of the Midwest for players he could shape to fit his program.“I think it’s a great hire,” Francis told cleveland.com on Friday. “He changed the program at Butler, and that’s what I think he can do at Ohio State.”"

There’s still a lot of time in Francis’ recruiting process but keep an eye on UNC and their interest in the point guard.
