Kennedy Meeks came into the week needing a good couple of days to have a shot at getting drafted in the second round, and he did exactly that.

Although Meeks had only decent measurements and numbers in the agility testing, he shined during the 5-on-5 scrimmages. He averaged 16.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in the two games.

He also led the combine in rebounding.

The major knock Meeks had throughout his college career was his inability to guard to the pick-and-roll. This week was no different.

He struggled in both scrimmages defending it and players kept attacking that weakness.

Since the NBA is mainly pick-and-roll offense, if he wants to have a solid career in the league, he needs to defend it much better than what he showed.

Overall, I think Meeks proved he can be a rotational player after a couple years of development. He still has things he needs to work on in order to make in the league but with some good workouts with teams, I think he can be a late second round draft pick.
