Although Ky Bowman did not lead Boston College in scoring, he still had an impressive freshman season for the Eagles.

He was their second leading scorer at 14.5 points per game. Bowman had several standout games in the ACC this season including 33 points, four assists and three rebounds against No. 9 UNC, and 30 points, nine assists and five rebounds against Syracuse.

In two games against Notre Dame this season, Bowman scored a total of 48 points (29 points, nine rebounds and three assists on Feb. 14 and 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals on March 1).

Bowman scored in double figures in every game this season with the exception of eight games.

The interesting thing about Bowman is that he was recruited by the North Carolina Tar Heels as a football player.

Bowman committed to UNC as a football player, but later changed his mind to focus solely on basketball. After decommitting from UNC, Bowman became an Eagle afterward.

Bowman has proven over the course of this season that he is ready for the big stage. He is not scared to take the big shot. Since Boston College has nothing to lose, do not underestimate this team and in particular, do not underestimate Bowman.
