The 2017 ACC Basketball Tournament kicks off today in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. The Barclays Center represents the home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and the NHL’s New York Islanders.

Over the years, the ACC Tournament has had sites in North Carolina and Georgia; the majority taking place in North Carolina.

Due to several societal issues, the ACC Tournament may not occur in Tar Heel State for quite sometime.

Typically, New York’s premiere postseason conference is the Big East Tournament which will take place at nearby Madison Square Garden in New York City this week.

According to Newsday courtesy of TicketIQ.com, the ACC Tournament has done better on the resale market compared to more traditional conference tournaments in the area (i.e. Big East Tournament).

This conference is projected to have a record 10 teams in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. This prognosis indicates how talented ACC teams were this season. Each ACC team has a legitimate chance to cut down the nets on Saturday night at the Barclays Center.

Expect this year’s ACC Tournament to be loaded with exciting games and tons of talent.

Several ACC players will have a chance to stake their claim on this year’s conference tournament. Based on how they performed this season, these 10 players will make their impact known in the 2017 ACC Tournament.
