A lot of that has to do with only getting two pinch hit opportunities in the month. The other part has to do with getting optioned back down to AAA on June 18th.</p> <p>Federowicz was originally called up as an injury replacement. With a less than stellar performance while in the majors, it was an easy decision for the Cubs to demote him when the injured player returned.</p>
