Billy Cunningham is one of the greatest Tar Heels to ever put on the uniform. After receiving accolades like first and second team All-America as well as ACC Player of the year, Cunningham was drafted fifth overall in the 1965 NBA Draft.

Just two years into his NBA career, Cunningham won a championship with the Philadelphia 76ers team that included Wilt Chamberlain and Hal Greer. He averaged 20 or more points and 10-plus rebounds in six consecutive seasons from 1968 to 1974.

He was a four-time NBA All-Star and a member of the All-NBA First Team on three occasions. He, like Worthy and Jordan, was also a member of the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team released in 1996.
