Majority Hornets’ owner Michael Jordan has a fetish for his beloved Tar Heels. Currently, there are two former Heels on Charlotte’s roster, Marvin Williams and Tyler Hansbrough.

Marcus Paige would be a great addition to Charlotte’s backcourt. Paige could back up Kemba Walker or play alongside him.

Jeremy Lin may leave due to offers in free agency, which opens up the need for another point guard. Jorge Gutierrez is Charlotte’s third string point guard.

Paige tried out for the Hornets several days ago. Obviously, they are interested in his services. Paige’s style of play, in particular, his shooting could be what Charlotte is missing in their offense.
