. Joe Wolf. 8. team. 77.
Joe Wolf was the 13th overall pick in 1987 to the Los Angeles Clippers

Joe Wolf is probably one of the more questionable choices in these rankings. He is the only player listed here to have played more than 10 seasons in the NBA (he played 11 for nine different teams). Role players like that are often what one expects in the first round.

However, Wolf also didn’t put up a lot of numbers in that period. In 11 seasons he only started 127 of the 592 games he took a part in (21%). He also only averaged 4.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. In other words he wasn’t much of a role player, he was just 6’11. In the NBA height can keep you employed even if you aren’t the best.

Wolf went on to be a coach. He has been an NBA assistant coach since 2008 with both the Bucks and the Nets. He also has been a head coach with the Idaho Stampede of the now defunct CBA and the Colorado 14ers of the NBA D-League.
.
