Eric Montross. 9. team. 18. <p><em>Eric Montross was the ninth overall pick in 1994 to the Boston Celtics</em></p> <p>Despite a great career at UNC and a promising rookie season (his best by far as a pro), Montross never lived up to the ninth overall pick. During his career he played for six different teams in eight seasons, averaging 4.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for his career.</p> <p>A foot injury forced him to retire in 2003 and it might have been the best thing for him. After basketball he went on to an announcing career. He is currently one of the top UNC color commentators working along side fellow former Tar Heel Jones Angell.</p>.
