We already know that the Tar Heels will be losing seniors Kennedy Meeks, Isaiah Hicks and Nate Britt after the 2016-17 season. It’s also a fair assumption that junior forward Justin Jackson will be lured away by the NBA before his senior season.

More tar heels: UNC Basketball Recruiting

With those things in mind, North Carolina’s coaching staff will need to find a lot of talented replacements to step into those roles. Signing some of the aforementioned players would go a long way to bridging the gap from one class to the next and maintaining the level of competitive play that we all expect for UNC.
