Andrew Platek (NR, 247Sports)

6-4, 190 – Shooting Guard
Northfield, MA
Northfield Mount Hermon

CONSIDERING: Butler, Davidson, Harvard, Indiana, North Carolina and more.

Andrew Platek is a 6-4 shooting guard who’s been showing off his three-point shooting prowess on the Nike EYBL circuit in recent weeks. His ability to hit outside shots and spread the floor impressed Roy Williams enough that he extended a scholarship offer to the junior guard.

At 6-4, he’s got good height for the shooting guard position and he can be an effective scorer in the right circumstances. Although he isn’t the most athletically gifted player you’ll ever see, or the best defender, he can fill an important role in the right coach’s system. For UNC fans, think Wes Miller…but taller.
