South Region: #1 Kansas

The Jayhawks have been consistently the best team in college basketball all season. Bill Self has a deep and talented squad. Kansas is once again kings of the Big XI by winning both titles. The team is lead by guards Devonte Graham and Wayne Selden Jr, and the age-less wonder Forward Perry Ellis. Despite getting a tough draw there is something about this KU team that screams final four.

West Region: #1 Oregon

The Ducks are a really good basketball team. Being on the east coast, not many people get to see Oregon play on a nightly basis. Dana Altman’s team is really versatile, and can do a little bit of everything. This seems to be a region that can workout really good for them. Oregon is 6-1 vs top 25 opponents this year; they are well deserving of a number 1 seed. If Oregon plays collectively as a team they will be representing the west in Houston.

East Region: #1 North Carolina

The Heels wasn’t as fortunate as other teams; Carolina will earn its trip to Houston if they come through the East. I think the Sweet 16 game could be the toughest in thru entire region for North Carolina. The reason I’m picking the heels are simply because they are peaking at the right time. They have been criticized by so many, on their way to winning the ACC Regular Season and Tournament title last weekend in Washington DC. If UNC gets consistent guard play on both ends of the floor from Joel Berry II and Marcus Paige the national championship will be coming to Chapel Hill, and be the third title for Roy Williams.

Midwest Region: No. 2 Michigan State

Cant argue with the Spartans; Tom Izzo consistently has Michigan State in the running for the final four every year it seems. Michigan State is a trendy pick to win it all this season, along with a few others. The team is led by All American and walking triple-double Denzel Valentine. Seems like Valentines Day every day for Spartan fans; this kid gives it his all every time out. Along with Valentine the Spartans are an experienced and talented group, and will be looking for another title run. The committee gave them a favorable draw in meeting Virginia a team they knocked out three out of the last four years.
