South Region: #7 Iowa

A seven seed has made the final four each of the last two seasons. Iowa at one point was the best team in the nation. Also beat Michigan St twice by double digits. Know how many other teams did that? Zero.

West Region: #2 Oklahoma

Buddy Hield is amazing. If his half court heave was a tenth of a second earlier, Sooners might just have won the Big 12 Championship.

East Region: #1 North Carolina

Only UNC and Villanova lost to teams that are either in or would be in the tournament if not for self imposed sanctions. Carolina also appears to have learned that if you play great defense, the offense will supply itself. If they keep up their tear from the ACC tournament, nothing can stop them.

Midwest Region: #2 Michigan State

Beat Kansas, which is impressive in itself. Have an All American/POY candidate in Denzel Valentine. Three of their five losses came by a total of three points including one in OT.
