In a 2009 NCAA Tournament game against Radford, Hansbrough tied, and passed J.J. Redick as the ACC’s all-time leading scorer with 2,770 points.
Tyler Hansbrough finished his Tar Heel career with 2,872 points, which is good enough for 13th all-time in NCAA history.
Head coach Roy Williams had this to say about Tyler Hansbrough:
