Center

Center 1 – Lucas Crowley (#68) 6-3 290 lbs Junior

Crowley has been a contributor on the offensive line since setting foot on campus. This two year returning starter is the centerpiece for what expects to be a revamped offensive line. Crowley, at times, is downright dominant. He finishes blocks and, as my O Line coach preached, “brings Hell,”each and every down. Tar Heel Quarterbacks should rest easier at night with this guy snapping.

Center 2 – Tommy Hatton (#52) 6-3 285 lbs True Freshman

Hatton starts his Tar Heel career enrolling as the No. 2 Center recruit in the country in the 2015 class. The sky’s the limit for this kid. Expect Hatton to make some noise in fall camp pushing Lucas Crowley as he develops into Carolina’s next great Center.

Center 3 – Brad Henson (#73) 6-5 300 lbs Redshirt Soph.

As noted above Brad Henson has the versatility to play both Guard and Center.

Carolina has been very fortunate to have recruited and developed excellent centers over the last several years. This year is no different for this deep and talented position. Between Crowley and Hatton, the next 3-4 years look very bright for Center.
