The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will get the action started on Thursday night with a slew of games to follow over the next few days. With the season getting underway, it's time to let you know which former UNC football standouts are currently on active NFL rosters.
In total, 17 Tar Heels have earned spots on active rosters for opening day. Here's the full list.

Hopefully, active roster spots come about for some of the guys who are currently practice squad players, as UNC football fans know what those guys are capable of bringing to the table for their respective NFL team.
