The UNC women's lacrosse program is about to embark on yet another Final Four run, their 14th in program history. The undefeated Tar Heels (20-0, 9-0 in ACC play) are on a tear and will take on No. 4 Florida on Friday at 3pm EST (ESPNU).

Florida has had a great season, finishing (20-2, 5-0 in SEC play), with one of those losses coming at the hands of Coach Jen Levy's crew in February (14-9 in Gainesville). There's bad blood between Carolina and the Gators. Last season, Florida bounced UNC from the NCAA Tournament in the first round 17-8. The Tar Heels have national championship dreams, but surely have revenge on their mind.

Before the lock up with Florida, the UNC women's lacrosse team got a visit at practice from a familiar face. Former Carolina quarterback Drake Maye, who now calls Gillette Stadium home, stopped by to offer encouragement to his fellow Tar Heels:

It's a fascinating time to be a UNC and New England Patriots fan. Former head coach Bill Belichick, himself a huge lacrosse fan, is now directing UNC's football program and the UNC women's lacrosse program has a chance to win their fourth national championship in Foxboro.

Drake Maye, Bill Belichick, and all North Carolina Tar Heels fans will be rooting on Jen Levy and her team this afternoon, and hopefully on Sunday at noon for the national title.
