Two-and-a-half wins after the loss to UConn, and the UNC women's basketball program remains locked into the No. 16 spot in the latest AP Top 25 Poll.

The two USC's (Southern Cal and South Carolina) losses led to a lot of churn at the top of the rankings. Former No. 1 South Carolina dropped down to No. 4, and former No. 3 Southern Cal dropped to No. 6, with their surrounding competitors moving up. The biggest winner is obviously new No. 1 UCLA, which had a dominant win over South Carolina, ending their 43-game win streak.

Undefeated Notre Dame was a big winner this week, moving up three spots to No. 3. Duke climbed one spot to No. 13, NC State remained in the No. 20 spot, and Louisville moved up one spot to No. 24. Stanford, Florida State, and Miami all received votes.

Indiana also received nine votes before getting waxed by North Carolina in the Battle 4 Atlantis finals. This should give some weight to UNC's ranking next week.

The North Carolina women's basketball program will return to Chapel Hill and host neighbor NC Central on Black Friday before welcoming No. 14 Kentucky and former nemesis and Virginia Tech standout Georgia Amoore on Thursday, December 5th.
