Troy offensive lineman Daniel King is visiting North Carolina, according to On3 Sports' Pete Nakos:

Daniel King is a 6-foot-5, 340-pound lineman who has played three seasons at Troy University after spending his freshman season at junior college Georgia Military College. He's played at center and tackle, showing the kind of versatility that Bill Belichick likes in his football players.

For the past two seasons, King has been an All-Sun Belt Second Teamer and has played 2,642 snaps in his FBS career, showing remarkable durability. He had originally made plans to enter the NFL Draft, but entered the transfer portal yesterday and is now visitng the Tar Heels. He will have one year of eligibility left as a graduate transfer. King is currently On3's top available offensive lineman in the transfer portal.

King joining the UNC football program would complete an immediate rebuild of the Tar Heel offensive line. Bill Belichick has brought in O-line transfers from Holy Cross, Alabama, Rice, and Prairie View A&M. Adding a Troy player would give Belichick a school Bingo, for sure, but if you recall his time in New England, smaller schools were never a hindrance to joining his squad.

Let's see if UNC can reel in a prized recruit from the transfer portal to get Bill Belichick's first season off to a fast start.
