Saturday was eventful for the UNC football program, as Bill Belichick secured two commitments from class of 2025 linebackers.
First off, we have Tyler Houser from Pope John XXIII, in Sparta, New Jersey. The 6-foot-2, 220 pound Houser is a 247Sports composite three-star recruit. He was a Wake Forest commitment, but asked for his release when head coach Dave Clawson resigned.
Houser is a busy linebacker, racking up 144 tackles in ten games during his senior season. He had 341 tackles in his high school career (225 solo). Houser will be one to keep in the oven for a season or two before making an impact, though he could see snaps on special teams. He has two career pick-sixes, so he's no slouch running in space.
